Monthly Archives: December 2013

We want to wish everyone a very, very happy Christmas and hope you will experience many blessings in 2014.

We also want to thank you for all that you do for us, the kitties, and all the other animals who make their way into your lives.

If you are looking for a last minute gift, please consider “Gift a Fix,” through the Fixit Foundation. You can make a donation to have an animal spayed or neutered. The recipient of the “Gift a Fix,” chooses the animal they want to be fixed from the many, many profiles listed on the “Get Your Fix” web site.

The handsome kitty in this photo is Presto who was adopted by the Forman family and has been showing off his photogenic qualities ever since he crowded his way on to the scene and pushed his brother, Tiger, out of the pictures! Thank you to Monica for always keeping us updated on Presto and Tiger’s antics and sending us so many wonderful photos of both boys.

On Saturday, December 14 from 2 to 4 pm, we will be holding “Photos with Santa” at Health and Harmony Animal Hospital,1117 West First Avenue in Grandview. If you have questions, you can call Health and Harmony: 614-360-3941.

We’re asking people to bring their own cameras and phones to take as many photos as they want of Buddy and/or Fluffy posing on Santa’s lap.

There will be a $5 minimum donation that will benefit Black & Orange Cat Foundation and the Good Samaritan Fund at Health and Harmony – to provide veterinary care to animals in need. You can, of course, donate more – and we will love you for it.

We will also have a photographer on hand who can take photos if you don’t have your phone or camera with you. The photos can either be printed out on site or emailed to you.

You can take photos of four-legged and two-legged kiddos – or even add a few adults to the mix. Anyone you want can pose with Santa.

We’ll also have some gift items and bakery goods (doggie treats and people treats) available to purchase. There will also be someone set up to do gift wrapping for a donation.

We look forward to seeing you then!
