Hi, Nicole–Our grand total, raised through Black and Orange, so far is close to $1,000. The surgeries cost around $1500. That does not include the expenses at Noah’s Ark Vet Clinic where Fruit Bat was taken when she was found. I’ve heard that those are several thousand, as well. I also don’t know how much Colony Cats has collected yet, since this has been a collaborative effort between several groups to keep this sweet girl from being euthanized.

Thanks so much for posting an update, complete with post-op photos! Fruit Bat’s news casts are adorable. Here’s wishing her a swift recovery
